Financial Literacy
In the United States, a little over half of all adults are financially literate. People who are financially literate make smarter decisions about saving, planning for retirement, investments, and more. Beginning financial education at an early age is critical to a young person’s long-term financial well-being.
Mentoring
Systemic and growing inequity manifests as gaps in opportunity, networks, and access to adult relationships outside of families. Mentoring unites us. It is a key response to these issues. At a time when research shows that loneliness and isolation are trending upwards, we know that relationships are powerful tools.
Scholarships
Our vision is to eliminate barriers to educational success so that any student can pursue their dreams. We aim to empower an America where those with the most need have the opportunity to thrive through equitable pathways to education and training.
THE PETERSON BROTHERS
OUR STORY
For over a decade, the Peterson Brothers have been exciting audiences with their unique style of classic funk and soul, as well as their original music that includes jam-band style improvisation. The Texas natives love for this type of music was born when their mother and grandmother brought home a crate of assorted albums and turntable from a garage sale.
Now Glenn Jr. (vocals/guitar) and Alex (bass/vocals/violin) want to use their unique position to give back to the community, and ensure everyone has an opportunity to pursue a satisfying and rewarding career.
