MEET THE TEAM
SKYLER THOMSON
My name is Skyler Thomson and I am the Assistant Director of Sensory Check. I have a service dog named Gus and a cat named Ron Burgundy, both of which are my entire world. I am on the autism spectrum myself, and because of that, being a part of Sensory Check is deeply meaningful to me.
Music has always been my passion, but I never thought I would see the day that I would actually be working in the industry. I work at 7S Management alongside Alex as well as being a part of Sensory Check, and I am extremely grateful for the opportunities that have led me to where I am today.
My hope is to not only give the experience of live music to those who wouldn’t be able to enjoy a conventional concert, but also to let people see that there are so many different options to build a career in music. I’m beyond excited to be a part of something that will change the lives of so many families, and can’t wait to share this experience with others who, like me, know just how powerful music can be, especially when truly accessible.
TESTIMONIALS
Cindy W. (Denver) - "Thank YOU! We are still riding a high after Tuesday! It was SO incredible! It was an exceptionally tough week for me and our little fam, so we appreciated this experience more than y'all will ever know! I still cannot believe it was the first Sensory Check event! You guys executed it flawlessly and we had the BEST time! You all were very kind, welcoming, and inclusive! It's really awesome being surrounded by people who all get it and love one another the same, all while experiencing the universal language and magic of music in a sensory-friendly way. Sensory Check is truly a one-of-a-kind organization, and I just know it will take off! Anyone who attends an event will be SO lucky! And what an amazing, inclusive, and kind band to see and meet! Ahhh! The moment when Jacob came up and talked to us, sang to us, and then let all of the boys play his guitar...I mean...::sigh:: My heart was exploding! Thank you guys again! It was an unforgettable experience, and we are super grateful we got to attend! I still have lots of pics and videos to post and plan to get to that soon. I'll tag you guys for sure! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!"
