The GRiZ Charity Network was created to support all charitable endeavors surrounding the GRiZ music project. From our annual GRiZMAS fundraiser supporting children’s music education, harm reduction initiatives at concerts, or specialized needs in communities where GRiZ is touring we hope to make a positive impact while embodying the GRiZ mantra of
“Show Love, Spread Love”.
Funk isn't merely a genre. It's a state of mind. GRiZ, the Denver and Detroit based producer and artist has carved out his own corner of bass music defined by sax-driven productions, soulful live performances, and a sound that refuses to stay in one lane. From future funk to glitch-hop to four-on-the-floor, he does it all without ever losing his signature feel.
After a two-year hiatus, GRiZ returned in 2025 with his inaugural Seven Stars Festival in Arrington, VA, drawing 22,000+ fans and a lineup of 60+ artists. The comeback extended through sold-out headline runs in Chicago and the Bay Area, and culminated in the 10th anniversary of GRiZMAS in Detroit. Alongside this, he released the GEMiNI EP, the Sidequest Vol. 1 mixtape, and a wave of collaborations with Wooli, Gryffin, Flowdan, Tape B, and other artists. 2026 keeps the momentum going: co-headlining The Gorge with Subtronics, headline slots at Electric Forest, Bonnaroo, and Okeechobee, and the return of Seven Stars Festival this October.
Giving back has always been part of the GRiZ ethos. For 10 years, he has hosted The 12 Days of GRiZMAS, with proceeds going each year to Seven Mile, a charity dedicated to supporting music education programs in schools. This year's event raised over $200,000 for the organization. GRiZ also made a $30,000 donation to Nelson County Public Schools, the home county of Seven Stars Festival, to support arts, academic, and athletic programming. The festival raised an additional $11,734 for Sound Future, which went directly towards revitalizing 12,000 sq/m of Virginia farmland.
Alongside community engagement, GRiZ harbors a strong passion for creating safe and inclusive environments at his shows. In line with this goal, he founded the Harmony Project, a program that provides on-the-ground Harm Reduction and Bystander Intervention at his shows and educational resources online. To date, that Harmony Project has been activated at every headline GRiZ show since his return from hiatus. The team of 50+ volunteers works alongside medical and security teams at venues and providing resources to fans.
